Ella Saddington is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and curator based in Naarm (Melbourne). In 2018 she founded Cordon Salon, a studio that uses research, collaboration and experimentation as a method to speculate on alternative approaches to contemporary craft and design. Working across furniture and object design, Saddington often focuses on overlooked, forgotten or ubiquitous processes and materials, in which re-imagined are shown again in a different light.

Saddington has exhibited widely across Melbourne Design Week, Melbourne Design Fair, Sydney Design Week & Craft Contemporary. Along with Solo exhibitions at Sophie Gannon Gallery (2021, 2022) & Oigall Projects (2023) she has exhibited at the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia as part of the history-making exhibition Melbourne Now (2023).

Her work is held in private collections internationally. She is a fellow of International Specialised Skills Institute and awarded the George Alexander Foundation grant in 2022 in association with her fellowship. Saddington is a recipient of the Creative Victoria Creators Fund (2023) and is a member of NAVA and Craft Victoria.
